In the past few weeks, I've been adjusting to a new school and work schedule and I'm still not completely adjusted yet. Unfortunately, because of everything going on, I've had priorities that have been higher on my list than my daily workouts, one of those being sleep. (Sleep ALWAYS needs to be a top priority!) Even though I'm at the dance studio teaching and being active, I still like to try to fit in my own exercise time. That's my personal time that I use to better myself. For the past two weeks I have been trying to get up early enough to fit a workout in before school, but my body hasn't been responding to my 5 am alarms very well. I regret not getting up because after a few days without my workout I just don't feel like myself. Finally, this morning, I made myself get up and gave myself just 15 minutes to start my day. It wasn't a lot of exercise, but it was enough to get me going.
The exercises I did this morning were actually an extension of my FitFriday #3: When Life Doesn't Give You Lemons... post. (I didn't even notice this until I referred back to this post, remembering at one time I did a similar post of how to get physical activity in with a small amount of time. )
The exercises in blue are the two that I added this morning to the previous workout I posted.
If you can spare 15 minutes, do all of the exercises 3 times each. If you only have ten minutes, only do the exercises in green.
Give yourself just a little bit of time today and be active.
