A little bit about me.... Hello all! My name is Hannah Boyl. I am excited that you happened to stumble across my page and now have the opportunity to get to know a little bit more about me.

I am a twenty-something dietetics student at Eastern Michigan University, with my bachelors degree in exercise science from Saginaw Valley State Univeristy. I grew up in a small town that most have never heard of in the heart of Michigan's "thumb." Over the past 5 of years I have found myself transitioning from that small town to Saginaw, back to my hometown, to Metro Detroit and now back to the thumb. (I think I'll stay here for a while.) I will always be a country girl, but boy do I love the city! I moved to the area to pursue my dream job of dancing professionally as a part of the Detroit Pistons Dance Team. This opportunity was full of so many great experiences and brought people into my life that I will never forget.

So, I've been there, done that, and I have more things I want to do! Dance is truly a passion of mine and I still teach here and there. I do hope that it will always be a part of my life. Now my dreams consist of being a registered dietitian and pursuing a career in sports nutrition. I always have new ideas brewing in this brain of mine. I would LOVE to have my own practice someday, really my own performance facility for athletes to come for sports specific training, physical therapy, nutrition, psychological services, group exercise classes and basic gym use. I know, I know, it's a lot, but writing it here makes it that much more real and pushes me even more to do what I love.

Currently, I'm working on my own business, studying for the RD exam, and trying to make as many connections as I can. Oh! And bringing you some of the best content on health, fitness, nutrition, and sometimes a fun "what's happening in my life" post.

A little bit about the blog...

What can I say, I love fitness and I want to share that love with others. The more I am learning throughout my education, the more passionate I become about the subject, and the more I want to share with others. I plan to share basic health and fitness information as well as workouts and recipes. I believe in a balanced lifestyle with mostly health-conscious choices but definitely a few choices that are good for my mental health as well. (Basically donuts.) I intend to share my journey though my nutrition experiences by posting recipes and other nutrition snippets. I always appreciate feedback and I'm always open to suggestions if you want specific content. E-mail me and we can chat. :)

Today is a beautiful day!

Thank you for reading Abs So Fruitly!
